Growing Crops

Growing crops is as easy as planting seeds, watering the soil, and harvesting the results! But keep in mind plants can wither if you forget to water them, or if they're planted outside their peak season. All the produce you harvest can be shipped and sold, or used as ingredients in a home-cooked meal!

Till the Soil

Your farm is ready to go with two fields as soon as you move in. The first step is to till the plots of soil using your Hoe.

Sow the Seeds

Check the description of your seeds to make sure they're in season, then plant them in your newly-tilled soil. Use the Watering Can to water them every day - once in the morning and once at night - to help them grow. If you want even higher-quality crops, make a habit out of spreading fertilizer!

Rainy Day? No Watering Needed!

Rainy and stormy days are nature's way of waterin' your crops for you. Just remember that they'll still need a drink when it snows.

Hybrid Crops

Once certain conditions are met, you'll be able to grow hybrid crops. Note that some may need particular kinds of soil in order to grow. Check their description and till your soil accordingly to give them a place to thrive.

Fruit Trees

Fruit trees will grow in tilled soil without needing to be watered. These trees will flower in a specific season, and then bear fruit the following season. They need room to grow, so be sure to plant them with at least one plot of space between.
