Basic Furniture
You will start your life on the farm with a small house and some basic necessities. These allow you to sleep, store items, or keep track of information you come across as you progress.
Bed
Sleeping here will help fully recover your stamina and progress your game to the next day. What time you wake up depends on what time you go to bed.
Calendar
The calendar keeps track of festivals, birthdays, and other events. You can view monthly or weekly schedules, and some stores sell a pocket calendar to carry around with you.
Bookshelf
The bookshelf holds all sorts of records and guidebooks, including a record of your earnings, trophy list, tutorials, and letters from friends and family.
Toolbox/Storage Box
Tools such as hoes or watering cans can be placed in your toolbox, while seeds and crops can be stored inside of the storage box. There is a limit to how much you can store at one time.
Mailbox
Mail will be delivered to the mailbox in front of your house. When your mailbox has new mail, an "!" will be displayed above it.
